CHILD REQUIREMENT FORM

 

In order to make the handover between you and me as smooth as possible I will give you this form to fill in during the Meet & Greet.

 

The Meet & Greet will take place the evening before your childcare day starts.

 

The Requirement Form has just a few simple questions regarding any allergies, sleeping & eating times etc. so I can stick to your regular routine as much as possible.

 

 

DAY TIME CHILD CARE

1) Service:

I am available during the daytime for half day or full day care. Children can be collected from ski school upon request. I will take care of the child in his/her own accommodation (hotel, chalet etc.). I can also take the child or children in my care around Saas-Fee and/or bring them to join parents for lunch by arrangement. The evening before booked childcare commences, I will come to your accommodation for the Meet & Greet to help the child/children settle.

 

2) Hours:

I will work for up to 6 consecutive hours per day maximum. The hours I work on a day to day basis between the hours of 8.00 – 18.30 is at the Client’s discretion. No refund will be given in the case of any unused pre-booked hours.

 

3) Taxis:

If you would like me to use taxis when picking children up from ski school, money must be given to pay for the transport.

 

4) Cancellation:

When a cancellation is made less than 24 hours before babysitting, 50% of the total price is due to pay. No refund will be given in the case of any unused pre-booked hours.

 

 

EVENING BABYSITTING

1) Service:

Evening babysitting may be arranged at short notice. There is a minimum of a 2 hours booking. On occasion, this service can extend to daytime hours if I am available. I recommend you book as early as possible if you plan to travel during high season.

 

2) Hours:

Evening babysitting must start before 7pm. Evening babysitting hours are from 6.30pm to 11pm maximum.

 

3) Cancellation:

A fee of 50 CHF is incurred in the event of a cancellation made less than 24 hours before Babysitting commences. This represents 2 hours Babysitting. I won’t stay overnight.

 

* New Years Eve; a fee of 100 CHF will be charged if the booking is cancelled less than 48 hours before the start of the booking.

 

 

GENERAL T&Cs

Meet & Greet:

I will contact you the night before your childcare booking commences. You can request a video chat during the week prior to your arrival. 

If you would like to arrange a Meet & Greet the night before your childcare starts, please contact me before your arrival in Saas Valley. This is subject to availability.

I will provide you with a form to be completed regarding your child (medications, allergies, routine and emergency contact details). I will keep this with me while your child is in their care. 

 

Handover on the day:

I will confirm the start time for the following day at the Meet & Greet. I encourage parents to be present for the handover so I am informed how the child or children have been and if there is anything particular I needs to know for the day.

 

Payment:

Full payment must be made on the day before the service starts via banktransfer or cash in CHF. Costs for any requested activities are paid by the family.

 

Health and Safety:

If your child has any special health needs or concerns please discuss in the booking process so that I can clarify details at the Meet & Greet.

 

Medications:

Please detail the medical or medication procedures required by your child on the form.

 

Safety:

In the event of any untoward incident occurring, you will be informed and requested to countersign a record of the incident. Please note that the safety of the children is my priority.

 

It is essential that mobile phone numbers are given to me. Parents & Guardian must be contactable at all times, their phones fully charged and ringing volumes turned to loud.

 

I am not able of taking care of children that are ill (e.g. Norovirus, infectious disease, flus etc..)  I reserve the right to suspend any childcare in the event of your child/children becoming ill. Child/children must have been not ill for at least 24 hours before childcare/babysitting can take place.

 

Child Protection:

The welfare of your child/children is my absolute priority. If I have any concerns about a child in my care I have a duty to report this to the appropriate agency.

 

Security:

I will never hand over any child from my care to anyone other than the Parent or Guardian. In the case that another adult should be picking up any child or children, I will need to be informed with their full name, a description in oder for me to process the handover. This will be detailed on the form.

 

Meals:

Parents should provide drinks, snacks or meals for their children. When babysitting with meal-times (lunch or dinner) the parents must arrange food for the children and me. When staying in a hotel with a restaurant, it is possible to go with the children to the restaurant and put the bill on the room. 

It is the responsibility of the parent or guardian to inform me of any allergies or special dietary requirements. This must be detailed on the signed form.

 

Self catered accommodation:

When staying in a chalet or appartment, I can reheat / microwave ready made food. In the case of no cooking area or hotel-restaurant available, I would require cash money which can be used for a restaurant/café.

 

Childrens belongings:

Please prepare and provide a bag for your children with toys, snacks and a water bottle. Older children may have extra clothing for after skiing. When pick-up from ski school is planned, please bring normal shoes in a bag to the ski teacher.

 

Babies:

I do not take care of children under the age of 3 years, and chilren that are wearing nappies.
